ZZ Top Announce Spring Tour
ZZ Top are hitting the road this spring
ZZ Top are a busy bunch, as the famed blues-rock trio recently wrapped up a lengthy Australia tour. Now, the Texas men have announced they’ll bring their live show back to the U.S. this spring with a run that kicks off May 2 at the First Council Casino in Newkirk, Okla., and travels through a May 25 gig at Sturgis Buffalo Chip in Biloxi, Miss.
After the U.S. tour, the band will hit Europe and play a run of shows in June and July, followed by a trip back to North America to play some sparse gigs. Specifically, ZZ Top have two shows in the U.S. this summer: August 1 at the OC Fair in Costa Mesa, Calif., and August 4 at the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, S.D. Find a complete list of tour dates below.
In other ZZ Top news, frontman Billy Gibbons will be playing a few shows without the band this summer with his old 1960s band, the Moving Sidewalks. The group has two reunion shows booked for this spring: one March 30 in New York City and the other April 28 in Austin, Texas.
