Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, Miss May I and Affiance Announce 2013 Tour
Killswitch Engage are hitting the road this spring in support of their new album, ‘Disarm the Descent’
Congratulations are in order for Killswitch Engage. The Massachusetts metal guys scored the No. 7 spot on the Billboard 200 album chart this week with their new release, “Disarm the Descent,” according to Nielsen SoundScan. That stellar showing comes on the same day the band has announced full-scale, North American headlining tour for this spring. Check out the tour roster below.
The North American tour is set to kick off on May 30 at the Diamond Ballroom in Oklahoma City, Okla., and wrap up July 8 at the Cottilion in Wichita, Kan. As I Lay Dying, Miss May I and Affiance will join Killswitch on the run. Tickets for most of the tour will go on sale starting this Friday (April 12).
“Everyone in the Killswitch family is excited to get out on our first U.S. headlining tour in support of our new record,” vocalist Jesse Leach said in an official statement. “We are hitting some great cities and have a great mix of songs from every era of Killswitch as well as of course a handful of new ones.”
