Soundgarden, Mumford & Sons and the Killers to Appear on PBS’ ‘Live from the Artists Den’
PBS’ ‘Live from the Artists Den’ series announces new season of performers
Soundgarden, Mumford & Sons and the Killers are all set to appear on the upcoming sixth season of the PBS program “Live from the Artists Den.” Each show will offer an up-close performance recorded with a live studio audience.
Mumford & Sons are expected to kick off the season sometime in January with an episode that was filmed at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles.
“It’s really special playing in a room like this,” Mumford & Sons frontman Marcus Mumford said in an official statement. “It’s not often we get to do so, and we really enjoy it.” Banjo player Winston Marshall also stated, “We love playing venues like this, these ‘20s style venues. It’s just incredible.”
Soundgarden recorded their show at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, and the Killers taped their performance at the Capitale in New York City. The full TV listings for the new episodes will be announced in the next few weeks via the show’s official website.
