Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival streaming select performances online

The annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival kicks off its 12th year today (June 13), and the bill of performers is impressive, packing headlining acts Paul McCartney, Mumford & Sons and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. The event takes place on a 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tenn., but those who can’t make the festivities will still be able to catch the action online, as Bonnaroo’s official website has teamed up with Ustream.tv to webcast a selection of performances from the festival on two channels beginning Friday (June 14).

Concerts on the schedule to be streamed via the webcast include the Lumineers, Wilco, Mumford & Sons, My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James, Local Natives, the Vaccines, Lord Huron, the National, Swans, Passion Pit, Grizzly Bear, Of Monsters and Men, Divine Fits, Foals, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Portugal. the Man, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and the xx, among others. The four-day, multi-stage camping festival is expecting 80,000 attendees this year. The festival features over 10 stages of music and 150 performances, including several dozen comedians. For more information, head to the festival’s website.
