Exclusive: Anberlin’s Nathan Young checks in with Audio Ink Radio to name his Top 5 albums of all time
Alternative rockers Anberlin have a knack for churning out catchy pop and punk-flavored rock music. On their latest release, 2012’s “Vital,” the guys added some electronic flourishes to their speedy, riff-heavy sound, and it makes for a very addictive release.
We caught up with drummer Nathan Young to find out his Top 5 Albums of All Time. His answer was pretty variety-packed. “Dang. This is hard!” Young said. “In no order, here we go: ‘RAM’ by Paul McCartney, ‘Clarity’ by Jimmy Eat World, ‘Revolver’ by the Beatles, ‘Hurry Up We’re Dreaming’ by M83 and ‘Veckatimest’ by Grizzly Bear.”
The guys of Anberlin — Young, Stephen Christian (vocals, guitar), Deon Rexroat (bass), Joseph Milligan (guitar) and Christian McAlhaney (guitar) — are currently on the road in support of “Vital.” For the full list of upcoming tour dates, visit Anberlin’s official website.
