Stone Temple Pilots Announce Fall Tour Dates

Stone Temple Pilots will hit the road this fall with new singer Chester Bennington

Stone Temple Pilots have announced their first tour with new frontman, Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington. The trek sets off on Sept. 4 at the Sands Bethlehem Events Center in Bethlehem, Penn., and is slated to run through Nov. 1 in Biloxi, Miss. Check out the full itinerary below.

The band has more up their grunge sleeves than just a tour, to boot. On top of the trek, the guys have announced they plan to self release a new EP. “We’re very ambitious about the future of making music,” bass player Robert DeLeo said in a statement. “The process and intention of creating it is so much more gratifying.” While there’s no word yet on a release date, it would make sense to have some of the tunes together to play this fall on tour.

Pre-sale tickets for the just-announced shows are on sale now, while tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday (July 19). For more information, head to the band’s official website.
