Imagine Dragons to Release New Single, ‘Monster,’ in ‘Infinity Blade III’ Video Game
Imagine Dragons gearing up to release a new song, ‘Monster’
Alternative rockers Imagine Dragons have announced that they’re teaming up with the “Infinity Blade” video gram franchise to release their latest single. ChAIR Entertainment and the band have joined forces to include the upcoming single, “Monster,” as part of the soundtrack for “Infinity Blade III.” Look for the soundtrack to arrive tomorrow (Sept. 18).
The guys of Imagine Dragons say the new song was written specifically for “a crucial battle” scene that takes place in the game. “Infinity Blade has been massive and we felt the song fit perfectly with the tone and visuals,” Imagine Dragons said in a joint statement. “We’re pretty big gamers ourselves, so we couldn’t be more excited.”
While “Monster” will be available in the video game, the song will also be available for purchase via iTunes beginning Sept. 19. Imagine Dragons have already scored big on alternative radio with their previous singles “It’s Time,” “Radioactive” and “Demons.”
