Imagine Dragons Announce 2014 Tour Dates, Talk New Album
Imagine Dragons say they’ll be locking themselves in a recording studio soon, but first, they have more touring to do
Imagine Dragons have spent much of the past year on the road, and it looks like that trend is going to continue. The alternative band has just announced that they’ll hit the road on another North American tour in early 2014 to support their debut full-length, “Night Visions.”
The tour, called the Into the Night Tour, will kick off Feb. 8 at the Taco Bell Arena in Boise, Idaho, and will continue through venues in cities such as Los Angeles, Seattle, Atlanta, Chicago, Nashville and beyond before wrapping up March 15 at the Pepsi Center in Denve. Openers for select dates of the tour include the Naked and Famous, Nico Vega and X Ambassadors.
“We couldn’t be more excited to announce Into the Night, the final chapter in our North American touring for ‘Night Visions’,” the band said in a joint statement on Facebook. “It has been a crazy year since releasing our debut album — and we owe it all to you and your incredible support. Very soon we will be locking ourselves in the recording studio, hard at work on the next chapter. But for now, ‘Night Visions’ continues.”
General tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning on Oct. 11 at Live Nation outlets. For more information, head to the band’s official website.
