Lorde, the Lumineers, Imagine Dragons to Appear on ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ Soundtrack
‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ soundtrack to feature performances by Lorde, the Lumineers, Imagine Dragons and more
The track listing for the upcoming soundtrack to the Hunger Games sequel, “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” is out, and the roster features a collection of popular alternative rock artists. In addition to Coldplay and the National, who were already announced to appear on the soundtrack, the album will feature new tunes by the Lumineers, Imagine Dragons, Of Monsters and Men, Ellie Goulding and more. In addition, the album will include a cover of the Tears for Fears’ “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde.
“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” soundtrack will arrive on store shelves and at online spots on Nov. 19. The movie will reach North American movie theaters beginning on Nov. 22.
Coldplay’s new tune, “Atlas,” that appears on the album is already available for purchase via iTunes.
