Ex-Smiths Frontman Morrissey Among Musicians Featured on PETA ‘Vegetarian Celebrity’ Stamps

PETA’s new ‘Vegetarian Celebrity’ stamps will feature ex-Smiths frontman Morrissey, Paul McCartney, Joan Jett and more
Former Smiths frontman Morrissey is one of the many celebrity vegetarians set to appear on a limited-edition series of U.S. postage stamps created by PETA. The animal-rights organization’s stamps highlights 20 different musicians, actors, athletes and fashion designers who don’t eat meat.
Other famous vegetarian musicians featured on the sheet of 46-cent stamps include Paul McCartney, Joan Jett, Go-Go’s singer Belinda Carlisle and Ricky Martin. Celebrities in different fields on the set include comedian Sarah Silverman, host Bob Barker, actors Joaquin Phoenix, Mayim Bialek, Casey Affleck, Sara Gilbert, Pamela Anderson, Marco Antonio Regil, and Paul McCartney’s daughter, Stella McCartney.
“These limited-edition stamps, featuring some of world’s most dynamic vegetarians, are the real deal, so you can stick one on your holiday greeting cards, or send the whole set as a perfect gift for all those animal lovers on your list,” PETA said in a statement.
The stamp set runs $19.99 and is currently for sale via PETA’s official website. One sheet includes 20 stamps.
