Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade performers include Goo Goo Dolls, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Gavin DeGraw and more
Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away, and that means Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is almost here. The folks behind the annual event have announced who will be rocking this year’s festivities, which take place on Nov. 28 in New York City, and the list is heavy on the pop and light rock acts.
The year’s performers include Goo Goo Dolls, Gavin DeGraw, Florida Georgia Line, “X Factor” finalists Fifth Harmony, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Megan Hilty and Kristen Chenoweth and Mannheim Steamroller.
Of course, those who aren’t in the Big Apple may still watch all the festivities on the small screen. The 87th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air live on NBC on Thanksgiving morning.
In other Goo Goo Dolls news, longstanding band mates Johnny Rzeznik and Robby Takac recently released a new music video for “Come to Me,” a track that appears on Goo Goo Dolls’ 2013 release, “Magnetic.” The album marks Goo Goo Dolls’ tenth studio release in their over 20 years together.
