Muse are coming up on the premiere of their new concert film, “Muse — Live at Rome Olympic Stadium,” in theaters worldwide, but those who don’t make it out to the theaters will have the chance to pick up the film as a live CD/DVD package following the showings. The collection, simply titled “Live in Rome,” follows alternative group’s performance on July 6 at the Olympic Stadium in Rome.
The DVD will feature 20 songs, and the CD will offer 13. As expected, some of the band’s biggest hits will be included on both of the sets, including “Uprising,” “Supermassive Black Hole” and “Starlight,” plus fresh versions of “Madness” and “Supremacy” that appeared on the band’s current studio album, “The 2nd Law.”
“Live in Rome” will drop on Dec. 2. Meanwhile, advance movie theater screenings of “Muse — Live at Rome Olympic Stadium” will take place on Nov. 5 in 20 cities. The movie will hit additional theaters around the world on Nov. 6. Between the movie theater screenings and CD/DVD release, fans will have plenty of chances to see the film.
