Muse Post ‘Madness’ Live Video from ‘Live in Rome’
Watch Muse perform ‘Madness’ off the band’s upcoming ‘Live in Rome’ set
Muse have a live CD/DVD set, “Live in Rome,” on the way, and in preparation of the release, the guys are offering up some footage from the film, which drops on Dec. 2. The band has posted a new video snippet via YouTube featuring a performance of the tune “Madness” off 2012’s “The 2nd Law.”
“Live in Rome” chronicles Muse’s live show on July 6, 2013, at the Olympic Stadium in Rome. The live CD offers 13 songs, while the DVD features 20 tracks. Some of Muse’s biggest hits will be featured on both releases, including “Uprising,” “Supermassive Black Hole” and “Starlight.” The releases offer songs from the band’s entire catalog, to boot, not just “The 2nd Law.”
In other news, frontman Matthew Bellamy recently told Billboard that the band plans to get started on the follow-up to “The 2nd Law” next year. “Early next year I think we’ll probably take a break for a few months and at some point next year we’ll start writing new music,” Bellamy said. “I think if everyone is up for it, we’ll start recording music sometime next year.”
