Stone Temple Pilots, Metallica, Queens of the Stone Age Presenting Black Friday Record Store Day Releases

Black Friday will bring exclusive Record Store Day releases from a variety of artists
This year’s Black Friday Record Store Day release list is out, and on Nov. 29, a bevy of musicians will unleash special singles, album reissues and previously unreleased packages in support of the locally-own, brick and mortar record shop.
The list of rock releases is plentiful this year. Josh Homme and the guys of Queens of the Stone Age will unleash a two-LP “Black on Black” edition of their latest studio album, “…Like Clockwork.” Meanwhile, Metallica will offer a four-LP vinyl box set of the soundtrack to Metallica’s 3D film, “Metallica Through the Never.”
On the alternative front, Silversun Pickups will release a special 10” vinyl single, which offers a new single called “Let It Decay” and a never-before-released B-side named “Working Title.” Stone Temple Pilots’ 1992 debut, “Core,” will get a reissue. Dave Matthews Band will offer up two vinyl box sets of live performances. Band of Horses will unleash a 7” vinyl single offers two acoustic songs recorded live at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn.: “No One’s Gonna Love You” and a cover of Gram Parsons’ “A Song for You.”
Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nirvana will also release Black Friday Record Store Day packages, and the list goes on and on. To view the full list, visit the event’s official website.
