Les Claypool’s Duo De Twang Announces 2014 Tour Dates
Les Claypool’s new band, Duo De Twang, is hitting the road in 2014
Primus singer and bass player Les Claypool has a new side project called Duo De Twang, and he’s ready to take the new group on the road. The band has announced a handful of tour dates in support of the band’s upcoming debut album, “Four Foot Shack.”
The North American tour will set off on Jan. 7 at the House of Blues in Orlando, Fla., and travel through nearly a dozen cities before wrapping up March 8 at the Vogue in Indianapolis, Ind. The full itinerary is below.
The tour is timed nicely with the release of “Four Foot Shack,” which will drop on Feb. 4. The release will feature a collection of cover tunes from Claypool’s discography, as well as songs by Alice in Chains, the Bee Gees and more. “Four Foot Shack” will also include one new track.
Duo De Twang are currently streaming their cover of Primus’ “Jerry Was a Race Car Driver via ATO Records’ Soundcloud page.
