The National’s new documentary, ‘Mistaken for Strangers,’ will reach theaters in March
Cincinnati-based indie rockers the National will soon have their new documentary in movie theaters around the world. The group has signed a distribution deal with with Starz Digital Media and Abramorama to present screenings of the film, “Mistaken for Strangers,” in select theaters around the country, on demand and via iTunes beginning on March 28.
“Mistaken for Strangers” chronicles the life of singer Matt Berninger’s younger brother, Tom, during his time as a roadie for the band on their recent tour in support of their 2010 studio album, “High Violet.”
“Both Starz Digital Media and Abramorama have championed the movie from the first time they saw it,” Tom said in a statement. “I could not be more excited to be working with them to release it.”
