Dave Grohl and his wife, Jordyn Blum, are expecting their third baby girl

Dave Grohl his band Foo Fighters have been hard at work on their follow-up to 2011’s “Wasting Light,” but now, Grohl has another major life event on the horizon: a new baby. Grohl and his wife, Jordyn Blum, are expecting a daughter, reports Us Weekly.

Grohl, 45, and Jordyn, 37, married in 2003 and are already parents to two girls: Violet, 8, and Harper, 5. According to the source at Us Weekly, the two have yet to decide a name for their third child.

Grohl recently performed during the CBS special “The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to the Beatles,” giving his rendition of “Hey Bulldog.” Grohl, a longtime Beatles fan, told the crowd at the taping, “I can honestly say that if it weren’t for the Beatles, I would not be a musician. From a very early age, I loved their groove and their swagger, their grace and their beauty, their dark and their light.”

He added, “The Beatles knew no boundaries and in that freedom they seemed to define what we now know today as rock and roll for my parents, for me and for my daughter too.”

Grohl also picked up a Grammy Award at the 2014 ceremonies along with McCartney, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear for Best Rock Song for their collaboration on the tune “Cut Me Some Slack.”
