Seether Announce Spring Tour Dates with Black Stone Cherry and Skindred
Seether will hit the road this spring alongside Black Stone Cherry and Skindred
Seether are currently finishing up recording sessions for their follow-up to 2011’s “Holding onto Strings Better Left to Fray,” but they’re already laying out tour dates to promote the upcoming release. The rockers will set off on a North American tour April 18 in Huntington, N.Y., and travel through a handful of cities before wrapping up May 21 in Sioux Falls, S.D.
To accompany Seether on the road, the band has tapped Black Stone Cherry and Skindred to open.
Seether are expected to give fans a taste of their new tunes on the run. The band has yet to announce specific details about the upcoming album, such as a release date and name, but they have revealed that they’re working with producer Brendan O’Brien, who produced “Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray.”
The spring tour also features some festival appearances, including Seether’s own Rise Above Festival on May 10 in Bangor, Maine, which will feature performances from Seether, as well as Trivium, Motorhead, Avenged Sevenfold, Black Stone Cherry, Skindred and more. Proceeds from the Rise Above Festival will go towards SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education).
