Korn and Avenged Sevenfold to Headline 2014 Mayhem Festival
Mayhem Festival 2014 to feature Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, Trivium, Asking Alexandria and more
Summer is on the way, and that means it’s almost time for outdoor concerts. Mayhem Festival is one of the heaviest treks to rule the warm months, and the folks behind the festival have announced the full lineup for the upcoming touring festival.
Headlining this year’s Mayhem Fest are Avenged Sevenfold, out in support of their 2013 full-length, “Hail to the King,” and Korn, touring in support of 2013’s “The Paradigm Shift.” Other groups slated to take the stage include Trivium, Asking Alexandria, Cannibal Corpse, Suicide Silence, Miss May I, Emmure, Mushroomhead, Veil of Maya, Texas Hippie Coalition, Darkest Hour, Ill Nino, Body Count, Upon a Burning Body, Wretched, Islander, King 810 and Erimha.
This year’s festival will comprise of four stages: the Main Stage, the Headbang for the Highway/Sumerian Stage, the Victory Records Stage and the Coldcock Herbal Whisky Stage.
Last year’s festival featured mainstream rock and heavy metal acts such as Five Finger Death Punch, Rob Zombie, Mastodon, Amon Amarth so this year’s selection follows suit.
Tickets for Mayhem go on sale starting at 10 a.m. local time Friday (April 4). For more on the event, visit Mayhem Fest’s official website. View the full itinerary for the 2014 Mayhem Festival below:
