This year’s Austin City Limits Music Festival will feature performances from Pearl Jam, Beck, Lorde and more

Austin City Limits Music Festival is on. Pearl Jam, Lorde and Beck have been announced as part of the lineup for the 13th annual event, which will take place over two weekends, Oct. 3-5 and Oct. 10-12. This year’s festival will also feature performances by Foster the People, Eminem, the Replacements, Skrillex, Lana Del Ray, the Avett Brothers, Spoon, Broken Bells, AFI, the Head and the Heart, Fitz & the Tantrums, Interpol, CHVRCHES and Jimmy Cliff. As always, the list is heavy on the alternative names.

In addition to the main acts, Austin City Limits is known for spotlighting Austin hometown bands and local restaurants. The festival takes place on the 46-acre Zilker Park and is one of the biggest festivals in the U.S., regularly pulling in 75,000 fans each day. Last year’s lineup featured a similar mix of alternative acts, including Atoms for Peace, Kings of Leon, Phoenix, the Cure, Vampire Weekend, Wilco, Depeche Mode and Muse.

While the show is still nearly six months away, tickets for this year’s Austin City Limits Festival are on sale now via the Austin City Limits Festival website.
