Judas Priest Announce 2014 U.S. Tour in Support of ‘Redeemer of Souls’

Judas Priest will take ‘Redeemer of Souls’ on the road this fall

Metal gents Judas Priest are set to release a new album, “Redeemer of Souls,” this summer, and the group has announced a full tour in support of the new songs. Rob Halford and company will set off on the trek Oct. in Rochester, N.Y., and for now, the tour is on target to closer out Nov. 18 in Salt Lake City, although more dates are expected to be announced. Spoof ‘80s hard rock band Steel Panther will appear as a special guest on select dates of the trek.

The 13-track “Redeemer of Souls” will arrive in traditional stores and online outlets on July 14. For more information on the upcoming run, visit Judas Priest’s official website.

In other Judas Priest news, the group was recently confirmed to headline the inaugural Louder than Life festival coming up Oct. 4 and 5 in Louisville, Kenn. Five Finger Death Punch, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington and Kid Rock, are just a selection of the other bands slated to appear.
