Hole singer Courtney Love says she’s a fan of Lindsay Lohan and Miley Cyrus

Lindsay Lohan and Miley Cyrus have Hole frontwoman Courtney Love on their side. When asked what she thinks of Lohan and Cyrus, Love told Australian TV show Sunrise that Lohan is “a gifted actress and it would be nice if she pulled out of whatever she’s in…I hope that she gets out of it.” Love added that she doesn’t think what the tabloids are doing to Lohan is just: “I don’t like seeing her bullied by the tabloids…it’s kind of mean.”

Switching gears to Cyrus, Love defended the pop star on the subject of “battling her demons so publicly,” stating, “I’m friends with Miley and she doesn’t really have any demons. She’s totally together.”

Love is currently on her way to Australia to perform a handful of concerts, but right now, her focus is more on acting. She told Sunrise, “Right now, after this tour, I’m probably not going to be touring for a while and I’m just going to focus on acting.”

Love will play a recurring role on the FX TV series Sons of Anarchy, which will debut at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Sept. 9.
