Brian ‘Head’ Welch is involved with the new faith-based movie called ‘Holy Ghost’

It’s no secret Korn guitarist Brian “Head” Welch is a practicing Christian. After all, Welch left Korn in 2005 to pursue Christianity and a Christian music career, but ended up rejoining the band in 2012, excited to bring his new faith back to Korn. Now, Welch is promoting a new Christian film called “Holy Ghost.”

Speaking with Variety, Welch explained he’s stoked to bring the movie to his fans and hopefully open some minds and hearts. “Christians unfortunately have been given a bad rap,” Welch stated. “I’m excited for real people to be able to talk about faith and not scare people away from it.” Welch also said he’s not trying to push his beliefs onto anyone else. “It’s all about love in meeting God and having our eyes opened,” he said.

“Holy Ghost” offers interviews with celebrities, musicians and religious figures, such as Lenny Kravitz, who open up about their faith and how it’s changed their lives.

The film will stream for free beginning today at 2 p.m. EST (Sept. 6) via the film’s official website.
