Linkin Park to Play Guitar Center’s 50th Anniversary Concert

Linkin Park will help celebrate Guitar Center’s 50th year at a gig Oct. 24 in Los Angeles
Linkin Park have been on the Carnivores tour this summer along with Thirty Seconds to Mars, and on the heels of the tour wrapping up last week, Chester Bennington, Mike Shinoda and the guys have confirmed a new show in Los Angeles. The latest concert will take place on Oct. 24 at L.A.’s Wiltern Theater and help celebrate Guitar Center’s 50 year anniversary.
“We’re honored to be part of Guitar’s Center’s anniversary celebration, and excited to share this special performance with the world on Guitar Center Sessions,” Chester Bennington said.
Linkin Park fans that can’t make the show will have the chance to catch the action on “Guitar Center Sessions” Dec. 4. on DIRECTV’s Audience Network.
Tickets for the anniversary show will be given away at L.A.-area Guitar Center retail locations. Music-lovers may also enter to win a VIP trip for two to fly to L.A., meet the members of Linkin Park, score an autographed Linkin Park guitar and pick up a $5,000 Guitar Center gift card.
