Muse Working with AC/DC and Def Leppard Producer on New Album
Muse are teaming with legendary producer Robert ‘Mutt’ Lange on their new album
The upcoming album from English alternative outfit Muse is going to feature a big shot of rock ‘n’ roll. The band members have confirmed they are recording their upcoming studio release with famed producer Robert “Mutt” Lange, who served as the producer for famous albums by AC/DC and Def Leppard.
“We are honoured to be making our new album with this legendary producer. #backinblack,” the guys of Muse posted as a caption under an Instagram photo of Lange with AC/DC.
Lange’s discography includes producing AC/DC’s legendary 1980 album “Back in Black” and Def Leppard’s groundbreaking “Pyromania” and “Hysteria” releases. In addition, Lange has produced albums for the Cars, Foreigner and Nickelback.
Muse first dropped the news of a new album on the way by posting some behind-the-scenes photos from the studio earlier this month. The band has yet to announce the title or release date for the upcoming, sixth studio release.
