Boy band covers the Romantics and Green Day

When you think rock, you probably don’t think of 5 Seconds of Summer. Even though the boy band is known for playing pop music, the guys seem to have a reverence for some rock music, too. The group’s upcoming live album, “LIVESOS,” is set to feature covers of Green Day’s “American Idiot” and the Romantics’ “What I Like About You.”

“LIVESOS,” out Dec. 15, will offer 14 tracks recorded on the road and one more, the cover of “What I Like About You,” from the studio. Stream the cover version of the Romantics’ hit below.

5 Seconds of Summer will kick off a U.S. headlining tour next summer.
