Ringo Starr Finishes New Solo Album
Ringo Starr has finished recording and mixing his next solo album
Good news from the Ringo Starr camp: New music is ahead. The former Beatles drummer has posted a video update on his website and YouTube channel, and the message confirms he has finished recording and mixing his next solo album. The release is set to arrive in 2015 via Universal Records.
In other Starr happenings, his All Starr Band will hit the road once again this February and March. The dates set off Feb. 13 in Bossier City, La., and run through a March 15 show in Las Vegas. The tour hits a broad range of states, including Alabama, Texas, Florida, South Carolina and California, plus overseas stops.
As April approaches, Starr will gear up for his induction as a solo artist into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this April in Cleveland. He will also score the the Award for Musical Excellence.
