Stone Temple Pilots Announce 2015 U.S. Tour Dates
Stone Temple Pilots and new singer Chester Bennington will tour this spring
Stone Temple Pilots, which now features Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington in the lead singer role, have announced a short spring tour. The alternative rockers will kick off a U.S. run on April 8 in Seattle and continue through an April 30 gig in Philadelphia.
Tickets go on sale beginning at 11 a.m. local time Friday (Feb. 20). For each ticket sold, $1 will be donated to Music for Relief, an organization founded by Linkin Park that assists with disaster relief and environmental protection. For more information, head to the band’s official website.
Stone Temple Pilots’ former singer, Scott Weiland, will hit the road with his new band, Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts, later this month. The group is also slated to release a new album, “Blaster,” on March 31.
