Phish Announce Summer 2015 Tour Dates
Phish have booked a lengthy summer tour, which includes their Magnaball festival
The band that made jam bands a thing, Phish, have unveiled their 2015 summer tour dates. The group’s upcoming tour will kick off July 21 in Bend, Ore., and run through its familiar Labor Day weekend three-night run in Commerce City, Colo.
Phish also run their own music festival in Watkins Glen, N.Y., and will perform at the festival Aug. 21 through 23. Now in its 10th year, Phish’s annual music festival is now called Magnaball.
Tickets to the Magnaball will go on sale starting at noon ET March 20, while tickets for the other tour dates will be available starting April 2.
In other Phish news, before the band’s summer trek kicks off, frontman Trey Anastasio will perform with the Grateful Dead at the group’s last three shows on Fourth of July weekend. Phish will also unleash their first full-length live vinyl box set, titled “New Year’s Eve 1995: Live at Madison Square Garden,” on April 18 in conjunction with Record Store Day 2015.
