Coheed and Cambria Sign to Jay Z’s Management Company
Coheed and Cambria are part of the Roc Nation management roster
Rockers Coheed and Cambria have joined an unexpected management company: Roc Nation, run by rapper Jay Z. Coheed and Cambria now share the roster with Rihanna, Shakira, Capital Cities and HAIM.
“We are honored to join the Roc Nation (management) family,” Coheed wrote on their official Facebook page, also sharing a link to their page on the Roc Nation website. The site tells the tale of Coheed and Cambria, a Claudio Sanchez-fronted band group that has spent the past decade telling majestic stories with their rock music.
Although Coheed and Cambria are part of the management division of Roc Nation, they’re not a part of the company’s record label. The band’s latest release was a vinyl reissue of their sophomore album, “In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3.” Legacy Recordings/Columbia Records are also on target to release “The Essential Coheed and Cambria,” a two CD set, in the U.S. on March 31.
In other news, the group has a slew of festival dates on the horizon, including appearances at Summerfest, Rock in Rio USA, the Wrecking Ball Atlanta and Amnesia Rockfest.
