Tool Announce Halloween 2015 Show
Tool Are Back…for One Night, at Least
Tool fans are on pins-and-needles waiting to hear news of a new album, but until then, there’s at least movement when it comes to live shows. Maynard James Keenan and the gang have announced they headline the Monster Mash Music Festival in Tempe, Ariz., on Halloween night.
Primus and Coheed and Cambria are also slated to play the Monster Mash on Halloween. Over the course of the festival’s three days – Oct. 30 through Nov. 1 – the event will also pack performances from Deftones, Linkin Park, Halestorm, Rob Zombie, John Fogerty and Santana.
So far, the Monster Mash is the only date on Tool’s 2015 itinerary. Tool’s last round of North American tour dates took place in March of 2014.
In other news, Tool are currently working on their much-anticipated follow-up to 2006’s “10,000 Days.” While there’s no solid release date in sight, or even a ballpark timeline, the band has sporadically posted updates on the writing and recording process via their official website.
