Switchfoot’s Jon Foreman Releasing ‘The Wonderlands’ EP Series

Story by Anne Erickson
Jon Foreman is branching out from Switchfoot with a solo project
Switchfoot frontman Jon Foreman is unrolling his “The Wonderlands” project, and the latest installment is “Shadows.” The release, which marks the second in the four-EP series, is currently available for download via iTunes.
“The Wonderlands” follows “Sunlight,” and both EPs feature six songs. The full “The Wonderlands” series will offer 24 songs, one made for each hour of the day. Foreman recorded each tune with a different producer, including some bigwigs, such as Paramore’s Taylor York and Grouplove’s Andrew Wessen.
In other news, Foreman has unveiled a music video for “Caroline,” the first single from “The Wonderlands.” The video is currently posted on YouTube.
Foreman, of course, is still fronting Switchfoot. He’s on the road with the Christian rock band right now, but he’ll hit the road on his own solo tour to promote “The Wonderlands” beginning on Aug. 25 in San Antonio.
