Blink-182 Songs Get the Lullaby Treatment
‘Lullaby Renditions of Blink-182’ offers baby-ready versions of Blink songs
Rockabye Baby! has brought rock-loving babies lullaby versions of songs by Foo Fighters, Tool, U2, Smashing Pumpkins, the Smiths, Nirvana, the White Stripes, the Rolling Stones, Green Day and more. Now, Rockabye Baby! has released a collection of Blink-182 music, which should certainly give the nursery a punk-rock vibe.
“Lullaby Renditions of Blink-182” offers delicate, cheerful-sounding versions of songs such as “All the Small Things,” “The Rock Show,” “Adam’s Song,” “First Date,” “What’s My Age Again” and “Feeling This” using xylophones and bells instead of guitars and drums and a lower volume than you’ll hear on Blink’s adult tracks.
The album, which dropped earlier this week, is available online via iTunes and Amazon.
In other news, former Blink 182 guitarist Tom Delonge has released the lead single from his band Angels and Airwaves’ upcoming EP, “…Of Nightmares.” Check out the tune, called “Into the Night,” via Rolling Stone.
