Drowning Pool to Release New Album in Early 2016
Drowning Pool have inked with eOne Music
Dallas hard rockers Drowning Pool have announced they will release a new album in early 2016. On top of the word on new music, the group has also dropped the news that they have signed with eOne Music.
“We are truly honored to be part of the eOne family,” the members of Drowning Pool said in a statement. “We would like to thank eOne for not only their support, but also for allowing us the autonomy to make the record we envision.”
Scott Givens, eOne vice president of metal and rock, added, “We are excited to welcome Drowning Pool to the growing roster of bands at eOne. I’m personally looking forward to unleashing the band’s new single later this year.”
The upcoming album, as-yet-untitled album will mark the band’s sixth studio release. It follows Drowning Pool’s 2013 set, “Resilience.” Jason Suecof — who has worked with All That Remains, August Burns Red and Motionless in White — produced the collection.
