Manafest Announce New Album, ‘Reborn’
Manafest will release his latest album, ‘Reborn,’ in October
Christian rapper and rocker Manafest is back with a new album, “Reborn,” out Oct. 2. On the fresh set, he returns to his indie core with alternative rock and hip-hop sounds and also welcomes some special guests into the mix.
“Being ‘Reborn’ to me is starting over and having a second chance,” Manafest said in a statement. “It’s like hitting restart, but without having to go back in time and start from the very beginning. This song is a confession that it’s not easy, and that we can all have doubts, but just don’t give into them. I fall down, but I rise and go!”
Manafest recorded “Reborn” with producers Seth Mosley, who has worked with Audio Adrenaline and Newsboys, and Joel Bruyere, known for his work with Thousand Foot Krutch. The set also features guest vocals from Trevor McNevan of Thousand Foot Krutch on the song, ‘Shine.” Other guest artists include rappers Tedashii and Shonlock on the song “I Have a Dream” and former Family Force 5 singer Soul Glow Activatur (Solomon Olds) on “Stick to Your Gunz.”
Manafest is currently wrapping up a lengthy roster of summer tour dates. He’ll embark on a new tour in support of “Reborn” starting Sept. 17 at West Side Christian Church in Evansville, Indiana, and stay on the road through a Dec. 5 stop at The Stockey Centre in Parry Sound, Ontario.
