Daughtry Announces Best-of Album, ‘It’s Not Over…The Hits So Far’
Daughtry’s hits will be compiled in a new best-of collection
Daughtry has a lot of hits, and the band is gearing up to release a best-of compilation packed with those chart-toppers, plus some new tunes. The set, smartly titled “It’s Not Over…The Hits So Far,” on Feb. 12.
The album will offer two new songs. One of those tracks, “Torches,” is available as an instant download for those who pre-order the album beginning on Jan. 29. Chris Daughtry and Dave Bassett co-wrote “Torches.” Bassett is known for co-wroting “Fight Song” with Rachel Platten and “Ex’s and Oh’s” with Elle King.
“It’s Not Over…The Hits So Far” will be available as a standard album with 13 tracks, as well as a deluxe physical edition exclusive to Walmart. The deluxe edition comes with a bonus disc, Acoustic Live — 2015. You can pre-order that at Walmart on January 29 as well.
Some of Daughtry’s hits that appear on the album include “Home,” “It’s Not Over,” “What About Now,” “Feels Like Tonight,” “Waiting for Superman” and “Life After You.”
