Guns N’ Roses Reunion Confirmed for Coachella 2016
It’s official: Guns N’ Roses will reunite at Coachella
Well, the rumors are true. Guns N’ Roses are set to headline the 2016 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, on April 16 and 23.
The news came Monday night (Jan. 4) along with the full lineup announcement from Coachella. Guitarist Slash and bass player Duff McKagan also shared a Guns N’ Roses/Coachella photo on their social accounts, basically saying what had been rumored for a while—that they will join forces with singer Axl Rose for a reunion at Coachella. No word yet on what other Guns N’ Roses members will be part of this reunion.
Other Coachella performers include LCD Soundsystem, who will headline on April 15 and 22, along with Ellie Goulding and Of Monsters and Men. Calvin Harris will headline the festival on April 17 and 24, and Sia and The 1975 will also perform those days.
The days Guns N’ Roses headline, April 16 and 23, other performers will Ice Cube, CHVRCHES, Disclosure, Zedd and Silversun Pickups, among others.
Coachella 2016 passes go on sale Wednesday morning (Jan. 6). For more information on the festival, along with the complete lineup, head to Coachella.com.
