Deftones Join Rock on the Range Lineup
The 2016 Rock on the Range lineup just got bigger
Deftones recently announced a new album, and now they have a major festival appearance to go with it. The band will perform at the 2016 Rock on the Range festival, which will mark the festival’s 10th anniversary. The Shrine and Adam Watt have also been added to the lineup.
“Rock on the Range has always been a show we enjoy playing,” frontman Chino Moreno said. “To be a part of the 10th year is particularly exciting for us, especially with a new album in tow.”
Deftones’ new album, “Gore,” will mark their follow-up to 2012’s “Koi No Yokan.” “Gore” will arrive on April 8.
In addition to Rock on the Range, Deftones will appear at the 2016 editions of Carolina Rebellion and Shaky Knees festivals. The band also has a five-run Texas tour on tap for March.
Rock on the Range 2016 is set for May 20 through 22 in Columbus, Ohio. Headliners include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Shinedown, Disturbed, Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch and Bring Me the Horizon. For the full lineup, visit RockontheRange.com.
