Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown Join Forces for Shows
Here’s where to see Five Finger Death Punch and Shinedown this year
Modern rock heavyweights Five Finger Death Punch and Shinedown are joining forces for a handful of co-headlining gigs this May. The schedule has the two perform May 3 in Evansville, Indiana; May 4 in Grand Rapids, Michigan; and May 9 in Pittsburgh. For tickets, hit up FiveFingerDeathPunch.com.
This is already shaping up to be a big touring year for Five Finger Death Punch. The Las Vegas band’s schedule has them performing at a number of major U.S. festivals, including Rock on the Range, Fort Rock, Welcome to Rockville, Carolina Rebellion and Rocklahoma.
Five Finger Death Punch also recently scored major honors by picking up the Soldier Appreciation Award for the band’s involvement with U.S. troops. They received the award from the Association of the United States Army.
“The Soldiers Appreciation Award is something very special,” guitarist Zoltan Bathory said in a statement. “The only musician ever to receive this was Elvis Presley. Clearly what we have to say resonates with a lot of veterans and a lot of service members. To know that we are reaching people and touching their lives with our music is very rewarding, and to me this really is the sole purpose of being a musician — to be able to make a positive impact in somebody’s life.”
