Grateful Dead Spinoff Band Announces Tour Dates
Dead & Company are hitting the road this summer
Say you’re a Grateful Dead fan? Then take note of Dead & Company, the new spinoff band that features Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart, plus John Mayer—yes, the pop star John Mayer.
The band has confirmed a gig at the 2016 Bonnaroo festival in June and a run of U.S. summer tour dates that kick off June 10 in Charlotte, North Carolina, and run through a July 15 and 16 stand at Fenway Park in Boston.
Other musicians that will tour with Dead & Company include former Allman Brothers Band bass player Oteil Burbridge and RatDog keyboard player Jeff Chimenti.
Tickets for the majority of the headlining shows will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. local time on Friday (Feb. 12) via LiveNation.com. For information, head to DeadandCompany.com.
Dead & Company will also appear Feb. 18 on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
