The Stone Roses Book U.S. Show

Story by Chalres Ken
Legendary U.K. rockers the Stone Roses are back
The Stone Roses have put together a 2016 reunion tour, and they finally have a U.S. date. The legendary U.K. alternative band will perform at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on June 30.
This show at Madison Square Garden is the band’s first U.S. concert since their Coachella appearance in 2013. It will also mark their first concert in New York City since 1995.
The Stone Roses, however influential, only released two albums over the course of their career: their 1989 self-titled debut and 1994’s Second Coming. The group parted ways in 1996. They got back together in 2012 and played Coachella in 2013, but haven’t taken the stage since.
The band has a handful of shows scheduled for overseas this year, too. The Stone Roses’ first 2016 gig is June 15 in Manchester, England. For upcoming tour dates and more information, head to the Stone Roses’ official website.
