Deftones Announce 2016 Headlining Tour
Here’s where to find Deftones this year
This is a banner year for Deftones. The guys are finally releasing a new album this spring, which will mark their follow-up to 2012’s “Koi No Yokan,” and slowly adding tour dates to their 2016 itinerary.
The California band just announced a U.S. headlining tour in behind their upcoming album, “Gore.” The run will set off May 10 in Memphis, Tennessee, and continue through a May 26 date in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. For ticket information, head to Deftones.com.
To get warmed up for the national run, Deftones have booked a six-show tour through Texas before the new dates, including a performance at South by Southwest. Deftones are also slated to play a horde of rock fests, such as Rock on the Range, Carolina Rebellion, Shaky Knees and Neon Desert.
Gore will arrive on April 8. The album’s first single, “Prayers/Triangles,” is out now.
