Gwen Stefani Taps Son to Help Promote New Album
Gwen Stefani is taking a very personal marketing approach to her new album
Kids can come in very useful. Just ask Gwen Stefani. The pop singer has tapped her youngest son, Apollo,” to help encourage support for her new album, “This Is What the Truth Feels Like.”
Stefani an adorable video of her son asking fans to go buy the new tunes on iTunes. Apollo, who is two, is spotted snuggling with Stefani with a pacifier in his mouth. Stefani takes the pacifier out of his mouth, and he says, “Everybody go to the iTunes!”
Before even posting the video, Stefani’s new album had already skyrocketed to No. 1 on iTunes in the U.S. and other countries.
Stefani also tweeted a selfie with Apollo with the caption, “Thank u everyone who made me #1 on iTunes!”
Stefani is currently dating country singer Blake Shelton, and Shenton tweeted at her, saying, “My favorite song on your album is ‘Rare’.. Just thought I’d let you know.” She replied, “Hummmm really? Wonder who that one is about?”
