Beck and Members of the Strokes Cover Eagles of Death Metal
‘The Brokes’ cover Eagles of Death Metal’s ‘I Love You All the Time’
Eagles of Death Metal’s “I Love You All the Time” has gotten a makeover ala Beck and the Strokes’ Nick Valensi and Fabrizio Moretti. The cover song arrives as part of Eagles of Death Metal’s Play It Forward campaign. You can give you support by downloading The Brokes’ cover of “I Love You All the Time” via iTunes. Oh, and the Brokes obviously is Beck and the Strokes added together.
Eagles of Death Metal started their Play It Forward campaign to help the victims of the Paris attacks which took place last November. All of the proceeds of the publishing proceeds from covers of “I Love You All the Time” will go to those influenced by the attacks. Eagles of Death Metal and Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme’s The Sweet Stuff Foundation is heading up the project.
Previous editions of Play It Forward include covers by Elton John, Imagine Dragons, Kings of Leon, Florence + the Machine, Halestorm, My Morning Jacket and more.
Eagles of Death Metal were performing at the Bataclan venue in Paris on Nov. 13 when terrorists stormed the room, killing 89 people. The band returned to Paris last month and performed their first headlining show in the city since the tragic incident.
