Gone Is Gone, with Mastodon and Queens of the Stone Age Members, Announces EP

Gone Is Gone’s debut EP will arrive in July
Meet Gone Is Gone, a new, buzzed-about rock band that features Mastodon bass player and vocalist Troy Sanders, Queens of the Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen, At the Drive-In drummer Tony Hajjar and multi-instrumentalist Mike Zarin. The guys recently went public, and now, they’ve announced the band’s debut EP will arrive on July 8. The lead single off the self-titled set, “Violescent,” is currently available for download via iTunes.
Gone Is Gone have already booked their debut show for April 27 at the Dragonfly in Los Angeles. The group is also planning more tour dates, as well as a full-length album later this year.
