Guns N’ Roses add openers to Not in this Lifetime tour
Guns N’ Roses are bringing a few big-named acts along on their 2016 reunion tour. Alice in Chains and Lenny Kravitz have been confirmed to open for Guns N’ Roses on their Not in this Lifetime reunion trek this summer.
Alice in Chains will kick off the tour beginning June 23 in Detroit and continue on the run through at trek’s July 3 stop in Chicago. Kravitz will open for Guns N’ Roses beginning with two shows in Boston July 19 and 20, as well as two concerts in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on July 23 and 24.
The Alice in Chains pick isn’t surprising. The band opened for Guns N’ Roses at their two Las Vegas gigs last month.
In other news, Alice in Chains have also announced their own headlining tour dates, which will launch July 6 in Portland, Oregon.
Guns N’ Roses’ Not in This Lifetime tour will bring together original members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan. The tour will set off June 23 in Detroit and close out Aug. 22 in San Diego. The band is expected to add more opening acts soon.
