Red Hot Chili Peppers Announce European Tour Dates

Story by Cat Badra
The Chili Peppers are hitting Europe to promote their upcoming album
The Red Hot Chili Peppers are back, Anthony Kiedis has healed up from his stomach incident (the band returned to the stage at Rock on the Range last weekend) and the gang is ready to serve up a new platter of their infectious alternative rock sounds. The Peppers have announced a string of European tour dates this fall behind their upcoming album, “The Getaway.” The short tour (just six days) will take the gents through Italy, Hungary, Switzerland and France. For information and tickets, head to RedHotChiliPeppers.com.
For those of us in the U.S., the Peppers will be headlining a handful of major music festivals, including Lollapalooza and Osheaga. If you’re not hitting up those events, don’t worry, because the band will add more tour dates to promote “The Getaway” soon. We’re guessing a North American headlining tour isn’t far off.
“The Getaway” will mark the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ first studio album since 2011’s “I’m with You.” The new tunes will drop June 17.
Red Hot Chili Peppers 2016 European Tour Dates:
9/1 — Budapest, Hungary, Sports Arena
10/5 — Zurich, Switzerland, Hallenstadion
10/8 — Bologna, Italy, Unipol Arena
10/10 — Turin, Italy, Pala Alpitour
10/13 — Montpellier, France, Parks and Suites Arena
10/16 — Paris, France, Accor Hotels Arena
