Skillet Announce New Album, ‘Unleashed’

Christian rockers Skillet have wrapped up work on their ninth studio album

Skillet have a new album ready to go. The Christian rock band has announced its latest studio set, titled “Unleashed,” will arrive at all the usual spots Aug. 5. The album is currently available for pre-order via iTunes.

In addition to the news of a new album, Skillet have also released the first single off “Unleashed,” a guitar-heavy rocker with an electronic feel called “Feel Invincible.” The lyric video for “Unleashed” is currenlty streaming via YouTube.

“Unleashed” will mark Skillet’s ninth studio album. It’s also their follow-up to 2013’s “Rise.”
