Red Hot Chili Peppers Plan U.K. Trek
No word on when the Red Hot Chili Peppers will hit the U.S., but here are U.K. dates
Here’s an interesting bill of rock and, er, metal. California alternative rockers Red Hot Chili Peppers are plotting a British tour, and the opening act is Japanese pop metal band Babymetal.
The guys and gals will kick off the tour December 5 in London and stay on the road through a December 15 show in Manchester. it’s a short trek, but the venues are big, so they’re covering plenty of ground. For information, head to RedHotChiliPeppers.com.
The Peppers are on the road to promote their latest studio album, “The Getaway.” The album has a top rock single in “Dark Necessities.” As of right now, the Red Hot Chili Peppers don’t have any North American tour dates on the books. Chances are that will change soon, though, as the guys will likely tour the US in 2017 to promote the new music.
