Mastodon, Queens of the Stone Age Project Gone Announces Debut Album
New rock supergroup announces debut album
Meet the latest rock supergroup on the scene, Gone is Gone. The band – which brings together Queens of the Stone Age’s Troy Van Leeuwen, Mastodon’s Troy Sanders, At the Drive-In drummer Tony Hajjar and multi-instrumentalist Mike Zarin – have unveiled all the major details about their new album, “Echolocation.”
The album, which will mark Gone is Gone’s debut full-length, will arrive on Jan. 6. The album’s first single, “Sentient,” is streaming now on YouTube.
Gone is Gone recorded Echolocation at Sencit Studios in Los Angeles, with additional recording also done at Casa De Leones Studios. The band produced the set, and Ken Andrews (Beck, A Perfect Circle) mixed the tunes.
While this is Gone is Gone’s first full-length, the band did release a self-titled debut EP last summer. (The EP is amazing, by the way.)
Gone is Gone’s ‘Echolocation’ Track List:
“Sentient”
“Gift”
“Resurge”
“Dublin”
“Ornament”
“Pawns”
“Colourfade”
“Roads”
“Slow Awakening”
“Fast Awakening”
“Resolve”
“Echolocation”
